Photo Essay: Kuala Lumpur

by in Asia, Malaysia

I’m not sure what I expected when I visited Kuala Lumpur, but what I got was definitely not what I expected.  The city was super-modern with little enclaves of more traditional culture.  I left KL knowing I had missed the best parts, but not sure entirely how to find those best parts.  It’s not a feeling I like to leave with.  What I did enjoy in Kuala Lumpur was photographing the amazing buildings including the Petronas Twin Towers, which is one of the most amazing buildings (or two buildings) I’ve ever seen.  Here’s a look at my short visit to Kuala Lumpur.

Beautiful images Joshua Webb. The architecture ofKuala Lumpur is a perfect blend of old colonial influences, Asian transitional, Malay Islamic inspirations, modern and postmodern architectural style.
